Who We Are
Native Spaces is a nomadic sustainable marketplace (multi use space) for the creative community, sustainable agriculture practitioners, artisan food producers, craft brewers & distillers. We are is an experienced team of event managers, hospitality managers, chefs, mixologists and seasoned independent food traders. We provide a ‘pop up’ event catering service and venue management service for cultural spaces, community gatherings, private events and corporate partners.
Founded in 2016 as a space for ‘Natives’ at music festivals to gather, to connect and to collaborate. A community cafe provided the fulcrum for building the energy within our space. We curated a brunch, a programme of immersive activities, a sustainability workshop and music to reflect our core ethos of community and sustainability. After 3 years developing our multi-use space model, we have honed our sustainable food and beverage service and venue management service. Native Spaces can now create a vibrant and economically viable multi use space (marketplace) within any building, as part of any venue, a community gathering or an under utilised space.
We have over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry we also offer an array of consultancy services. These consultation services include menu design for both food and beverage (with particular focus on craft produce), space layout for any venue, designing food and beverage operations and growth strategies to help and assist any entrepreneur looking to grow a sustainable food and beverage business.
How We Work
Native Spaces and our community have created a shared vision and a framework for sustainable food and beverage service. Through our community we can curate and deliver a bespoke food and beverage service for creative agencies, event management companies, building management companies, corporate partners and community gathering organisers. Native Spaces community of independent food traders use an array of food trucks, pizza oven trailers, meat smokers and eco coffee bikes to make a space.
As part of our sustainability practice, Native Spaces has developed an ‘off grid’ food offerings for event organisers wishing to produce events without using diesel generators. Native Spaces can also provide a full bar service with extensive knowledge on offering craft beer, cocktails for corporate catering events where we can design bespoke batched cocktails if desired. Native Spaces and our community are part of an innovative business model that enables a sustainable growth path for all people and businesses involved in this community. The next step for Native Spaces is to find a home to become a permanent multi use space to anchor this model and develop it further.
